SEMINAR EVENT: THE NEUROSCIENCE OF EMOTIONS WITH SUE LANGLEY

SEMINAR EVENT: THE NEUROSCIENCE OF EMOTIONS WITH SUE LANGLEY

According to the World Economic Forum, emotional intelligence is going to be one of the most useful leadership traits for 2020. As the world changes, our ability to handle ourselves and lead others becomes more and more valuable. Linking this to neuroscience, Sue Langley will provide insights into how our brains are wired, how emotions influence us, how habits are formed and undone and how neuroplasticity is key to learning.

This session provides an overview of emotional intelligence from a brain perspective and will enable participants to:

  • Identify how moods affect your own and others’ behaviour, decisions and performance
  • Distinguish how emotions are perceived through the body and the brain
  • Explore the science of the brain and creating habits for success
  • Learn how to fuel your brain for maximising performance
  • Integrate the energy of emotions to get the best possible outcomes
  • Building resilience for wellbeing and human flourishing – at home and at work!
